Minnesota Conference
Now that the services honoring the life of Dr. Daniel Honoré have concluded, it is time to start looking to the future for the Minnesota Conference. According to our Articles & Bylaws, the Mid-America Union administration is leading the process and, in collaboration with the Conference Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee, has begun our search for a new conference president. Please continue to pray that God leads in this process. We will be in touch as there is more to report.
Employment Opportunities
The Minnesota Conference office is looking for a Payroll Clerk / Human Resources Generalist. This person must be mission oriented, value people, and be a committed Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn how to use various kinds of software with excellent customer service skills. Openness to learning new things and being a team player is a must. The Minnesota Conference office is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the President and the Vice President for Administration. This person must be mission oriented, have excellent customer service and organizational skills, and comfortable with computers. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn how to use various kinds of software. Openness to learning new things and being a team player is a must. The pay range for this position is currently $19.59 to $25.62 per hour, based on years of relevant experience. Minnetonka Blood Drive
Minnetonka SDA Church is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on March 22 from 10-4 at the Minnetonka SDA Church. Please see flier for more info and how to make an appointment.
Maplewood Academy International Food Festival
Maplewood Academy is hosting an International Food Festival in the Maplewood Gymnasium- 700 Main St. N. Hutchinson, MN on February 26 from 11:30-2:30. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. All proceeds will go to support the Worthy Student Fund. See attached flier.
Maplewood Academy Capital Campaign
For Maplewood Academy to continue to fulfill its God-given mission to work towards the education and salvation of the young people entrusted to us, a new cafeteria building is vital. The need for these funds is urgent. For construction to begin this summer, the funds must be raised this spring for 70% of the building cost. Please prayerfully consider how you might be able to contribute to this exciting project that will support the entire Minnesota Conference, as Maplewood is the location for conference events such as camp meetings, music fest, and various Pathfinder events. Thank you in advance for your support for the young people of Minnesota and the surrounding areas.
