Mike Tucker

Mike Tucker is the Speaker Emeritus of Faith for Today Television, and host of the award-winning television program, Lifestyle Magazine. He conducts seminars like Mad About Marriage, Good Grief, and The Choice, and serves as a Teaching Pastor for Canyon Creek Project, a church plant in Richardson, Texas. Mike has served as a Pastor, Counselor, Christian High School Bible Teacher, Youth Pastor, a Pastor’s Pastor for his denomination, and Senior Chaplain for medical and psychiatric facilities.  

Mike has authored several books, including Meeting Jesus in the Book of Revelation; Journal of a Lonely God; Jesus, Your Heart’s Desire; Every Good Thing; Ten Keys to a Happy Marriage, Mad About Marriage and more. His most recent book, Tears to Joy, shares his own journey of grief after losing his wife and ministry partner of 40 years.   

Mike has remarried and lives in the Dallas, Texas area with his wife, Pam, a Gospel Singer from Canada. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Mike describes himself as the happiest bad golfer you’ll ever meet!

Location

North Star Camp, owned and operated by the Minnesota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, is located next to the Mississippi River, on the northeast corner of Brainerd. Follow the North Star Camp signs from the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport off of Hwy 210.

Music Worship Team

Each session will begin with worship in song led by the Men’s Retreat Worship Team.

Weekend Features

Treat yourself, your father or son, and a friend to a weekend full of refreshing memory‑making experiences.  Relax in Christian fellowship, make a new friend, or enjoy the solitude away from the normal stresses of daily life. 

Scholarships Available 

Minnesota Men's Retreat is offering a 50% scholarship [up to $75] for those who would otherwise not be able to attend because of finances. Half of the fee for the weekend [up to $75] will be paid by Men's Retreat and the other half can either be paid by your local church or by the person requesting a scholarship. Your local pastor will submit the names and email addresses of those requesting scholarships to Dan Masloski at (612) 210-8731 or email: dmasloski@comcast.net).

Please Note: When Dan receives your name from your pastor, he will contact you for your registration information and payment. 

Registration Information

Rates: Staff Cabins: $185, Cabins: $150, Camping: $110, Commuter: $60 (add $25 if you plan to come early on Thursday; food and recreation not included). You may sign up for 4 to 6 roommates. Each person will have a single bed. Please bring your own bedding.

 

  • Retreat begins Friday, April 28, ending Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
  • Rooms are available at 5:00 p.m.
  • Registration 5:00 – 6:45 PM (Friday evening meal (5:00 - 6:45 pm. Also after first meeting for late arrivals)
  • The first meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

 

 

Registration for Thursday arrivals, or those planning on helping with Special Projects opens Sunday, February 26.

For all other options, registration opens Monday, February 27.
