OUR SPEAKERS:

Inskip & Cynthia Allsop

Pastor Inskip Allsop, the 9th of eleven siblings, is a native son of Trinidad and Tobago.  From his youth, he loved the Lord and dedicated his life to serving Him. Obeying the call to ministry, he went to Colombia, South America, where he spent seven years both studying and serving in pastoral ministry. He returned to Trinidad to continue his ministry.  During that time, he founded Truth for Today Ministries and also served as a volunteer prison chaplain. He would later marry the love of his life, the enchanting Cynthia Joseph, who has walked by his side for 32 years of fulfilling marriage. They have three adult children: Stephen, a physician-scientist, Keziah, founder and CEO of Once Upon A Dream Event, Fashion and Interior Design and KEZZIE clothing line, and Sarah, a recent mother and soon-to-be Occupational Therapist. They are also the proud grandparents of two precocious, good looking and talented young ones: Malachi and Hadassah, and now of Nylah, the cutest, best-behaved baby in the world.

Pastor Allsop migrated to the USA, and has worked in Macon, Georgia, Long Island, NY, Silver Spring, MD. His last pastoral assignment was as the pastor of the Middletown English and New Castle Spanish churches in Delaware, while also serving as Health Ministries director of the Chesapeake Conference of SDA. He has since transitioned to hospital chaplaincy where he works at the Christiana Hospital as a palliative care, oncology chaplain. He is a well-known speaker who has traveled extensively, both nationally and internationally, to preach in evangelistic campaigns, and to conduct health and family life seminars.

Pastor Allsop is also a naturopathic physician who had his own solo practice for ten years before returning to full time ministry.  Pastor Allsop enjoys singing, and playing the piano and guitar. He especially loves spending time alone reading, or watching his favorite programs. But above all, Pastor Allsop loves the word of God, seeks to be true to that word whenever he preaches it, and experiences no greater joy than when it is made plain to a listening congregation. His desire is that in the audience today there will be ears open to hear, hearts ready to receive and hands willing to obey the Word of God.
