Greetings to all in Minnesota Conference!

I hope you are active, healthy, and able to see God’s blessings in your life today!

The Covid-19 pandemic has called into question the propriety and rationality of holding large public gatherings in the next several months.  Therefore, the Minnesota Conference Board of Trustees voted today:

  1. That the Constituency Session of the Minnesota Conference Association of Seventh-day Adventists be postponed until 10 a.m. on October 11th, 2020.
  2. That we cancel the camp meeting which is currently scheduled to take place at Maplewood Academy from June 9th through 13th, 2020, and that we also cancel the Twin Cities African Camp Meeting which is currently scheduled to take place at Faith Church International and North Heights Lutheran Church from July 5th through 11th, 2020.

In summary, our Conference Constituency Session is postponed by almost five months.  The terms of all Conference officers, and members of the various Conference boards and committees, will extend to the new Constituency Session date.

Without the usual gatherings to which we are accustomed, it becomes even more important to stay in touch with each other.  Thank you for encouraging each other to stay socially connected and engaged in mission while remaining physically distanced.

Please continue to keep the Conference in prayer.  Let’s keep our EYES on Jesus!

Blessings to you!
