Sabbath Seminar at Detroit Lakes presented by Dr. Edward Allen
When: June 26, 2021, at 11:00 AM Where: Detroit Lakes Seventh-day Adventist Church 404 Richwood Rd., Detroit Lakes, MN 56501
Dr. Allen will present The Sabbath as an Oasis in Time in the morning, a look into what the Sabbath means to living abundantly. There will be potluck following church service. In the afternoon, he will present The Sabbath and the Apocalypse, answering the relevance of Sabbath in end-time events. We invite you to join us on this special Seminar Sabbath. Dr. Allen is currently serving at Union College in Lincoln, NE as an Academic Dean, Professor of Religion, and the Director of the Religion Program. His area of specialty is Church History, specifically the History of the Sabbath.
Receptionist Position Available Starting August
The Minnesota Conference office is looking for a part-time receptionist to answer and field phone calls, greet visitors, and aid in projects as assigned. This position will begin in August, and will be Monday through Thursday, 7 hours per day. Schedule to be worked out upon hire. Seeking someone who loves Jesus and emulates Him in their interactions with others; strong communication and customer service skills; and a willingness to learn. Messiah’s Mansion Crookston Church
The Crookston church would like you to add an announcement that we are also going to be hosting the Messiah's Mansion. July 3-11th, giving people an opportunity to tour this amazing exhibit.
Messiah’s Mansion Countryside Church
Countryside SDA Church, near St. Cloud, will be host to Messiah’s Mansion this summer. The life-size sanctuary will be coming in August, dates for tours are August 14-22, 2021. http://www.messiahsmansionstcloud.org
Also, we are looking for SDA people who know a 2nd language to translate from English so we can share the gospel with as many people as possible.
