The Minnesota Conference is seeking a Camp Facilities Manager, a full-time salaried position focused on caring for, maintaining, repairing and constructing equipment, facilities and landscaping as necessary and requested by Conference leadership and/or the North Star Camp board. In addition, this position is responsible for the care and maintenance of North Star Camp horses. This position reports to the Conference Youth Director.
Salary ranges from $42,000 to $53,000 per year. On-site housing provided at reduced rental rate. Pay package includes cell phone allowance. Facilities Manager is expected to maintain presence at camp year-round.
Manager may be asked to provide support as assistant camp director during summer camp season. Facilities Manager is also responsible for hosting, providing housekeeping and janitorial support, and customer service during off-season, which may include scheduling and marketing as skills allow. Ability to drive and maintain farm equipment safely a requirement. Ability to operate and maintain watercraft, including holding boating license, or a willingness to learn and acquire a boating license is a requirement. Willingness to gain ServSafe Certification a plus, but not a requirement. Ministry teams a plus, but not a requirement. Self-motivated and able to begin and complete work without prompting from leadership. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
