EnditNow Day: This Sabbath draws attention to the very real, very present problem of domestic abuse in our communities and churches. Heather-Dawn Small, Women's Ministries Director for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists says "Educating ourselves and our membership on this issue is paramount to change. We are God’s hands and feet. His arms of love to a world in need. Will you take up the challenge to be sure that this day is promoted in your church? We are counting on you, our sister-leaders, to help us keep the issue of abuse before our membership. Remember, abuse is everywhere, in the community but also in the homes of church members!"
