ATTENTION, IF YOU WORK WITH CHILDREN

With the change of insurance companies comes a change of background check providers. Verified Volunteers (VV), a subsidiary of Sterling, is the new background check provider for the Minnesota Conference.

All staff and volunteers can now complete their background checks online. The process includes child protection training. If you do not have computer access available, please talk to your pastor, or other leadership to arrange access to do the training and background check.

Please visit Verified Volunteers by downloading the instruction sheet below. All background checks are valid for three years and should be retaken prior to the upcoming retake date, if necessary.

Undocumented Volunteers
If a volunteer is undocumented the program has the option so that they can go through the background check portion of the training even though they may not yet have all of their documentation.
